I met $spyed tonight... well, sort of.

Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting a guy called Andrew, CEO of Ballistic publishing.

He told me of the time he met $spyed last week in Sydney.

He uttered the words:


"Angelo is a businessman"


Pretty much sums up how he was portrayed when Jark exited. I don't know if that sits right with me.

Hm.

Merry Giftmas!

Hi guys!

What are you doing for Christmas? Is it different from previous years? These last few years I've been trying to figure out what christmas actually means to me, as it seems like things are constantly changing!

Do you have any traditions in your family for Christmas? Have these ever changed, or do you think they might in the future?

Anyway, perhaps a little update on my life! ... woah, have I been busy!

I've been studying a Masters of Business Information Systems back in Australia- which is such hard work! Last semester I got the equivalent of Straight A's though, which is something I've never done at university before! Hooray!

I'm working on a student placement for the department of defence too. But enough about that- I'd prefer not to think about it now because I'm ON HOLIDAYS! :D :D :D

And I get Copics for christmas! And new pens and pencils and a massive A2 pad of marker paper *drool*.

So the question is, what should I draw?! :D If you have any ideas you never know, I might just draw something for you ;)

Hey!

Woah, over 6 months since an update? Not cool!

As some of you know, I'm still around, looking at deviations on average about once per week. Sadly, that's all I have time for these days. Silly "real life" and its silly priorities :D

A lack of time seems to drain whatever creative energy I have lately. How can I get this back? I don't feel like drawing, I don't feel like painting, and when I do, I'm too tired and just feel like flopping on the couch in front of some good TV (I loooooove TV).

So, what should I do? My house is filled with blank canvases, and I live literally right next to a beautiful beach, which should fill me to the brim with inspiration...

Hey guys!

I have been looking at your art believe it or not! My reason for not commenting or anything is because it then starts this huge wave of messages that I then feel obligated to attend to :(

I'm so sorry! I'm really enjoying the break from DA though, believe it or not!

My new job is so great- the people are amazing and the work is fun. Life is being very kind to me :)

Anyway, keep doing what you're doing- although you may not see me appreciating your work or comments, I am- each and every one :heart: Keep doing what you're doing!

Is anything exciting happening in your world right now? Im going to reply to messages in this journal if you want to say hi! :D

Today I would like to feature a new face in the community ~Rhopalocera, who has only been here a short time, yet always leaves amazingly thoughtful comments, asking for little in return. Her drawing style is unique, and she has already shown great potential to be a well developed artist in the near future. Whenever I see her work, I think that it would look great as a stained glass window painting design :)

Farewell (for a little while)

Hey guys! I'm going to take a break from my regular DA activity until some things settle down in "real" life. This means that I will not be attending to my notes and devwatch as religiously as you may expect me to.

This is in reflection to my new work commitments. When I have a lot of spare time, I feel obligated and motivated to give 110% around here, so I felt it was necessary to let you know that this will not be the case in the near future. As you know I love to put a huge amount of effort in to being a generally "present" being around here, but for now I'm taking a little time back for myself :)

So, anything that you submit from now until the time I come back I may/may not comment on as I normally do. Just a heads up! It's not you- it's me! :D

I'll still be floating around the place though, so you might get the occasional surprise here and there!
